 Guarantee

Flute Tree & The Woodwind Group Pty. Ltd.
have carefully selected the products they sell, for their quality of construction, reliability and musical qualities.
We know the items you purchase from us are the best around, and to ensure you share our confidence we offer two product guarantees.
i) Manufacturers guarantee
All items come complete with the manufactures guarantee as specified in the Manufacturers details.

ii) Woodwind Group Workshop Guarantee
All instruments come complete with the additional Woodwind Group workshop  12mnth guarantee.
As Australia's premiere woodwind Atelier, the Sydney based Woodwind Group workshop can effect the highest level of warranty adjustments promptly and at a World class level.

  • Warranties do cover manufacturing and material defects.
  • Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear.
  • Warranties do not cover deterioration or instrument failure due to improper handling, damage or neglect.
  • Warranties do not cover deterioration by reason of perspiration, corrosive or humid environment or other external causes.
  • Any adjustment, alteration or dismantling by non ' The Woodwind Group Pty. Ltd.' technicians, will void all guarantees
  • Products that are on-sold or re-supplied are not covered warranty.
  • Shipping costs to and from The Woodwind Group Pty. Ltd are not covered by warranty

Deliveries.

Pick and Play               - delivery option.
After selecting your chosen instrument, proceed through the on-line checkout and select the Pick and Play delivery option.
You will be contacted within 24hrs by one of our flute consultants who will arrange a mutually convenient delivery/consultation time and place:
Your home - Consultants premises - Studio/school, as available

Door to door courier     - delivery option.
For safety and reliability all instruments are delivered by our preferred door to door courier.
We are not able to deliver instruments to PO Boxes.
Deliveries can be requested between 9:00 - 5:00, Monday till Friday at home or work addresses.
A signature is required for delivery to be completed.
If recipient is not available to sign for the delivery a re-delivery may be necessary and any associated costs payable by the recipient
Request for courier delivery constitutes acceptance of these terms

Australia post               - delivery option
Australia post delivery is only used for small items or country destinations where courier or 'Pick and Play' is not an option

 

Returns and exchanges.

If you are unsure of your choice we encourage you to take advantage of our unique "Pick & Play" option;
Purchase the instrument of your choice on line,  along with the 'Pick & Play' delivery option, and the instrument will be delivered by one of our expert flute consultants, who will arrange to meet with you, bringing your instrument of choice and up to 4 similar, comparable and contrasting instruments for you to choose from. Their expert guidance in helping you select the most suitable instrument ensures a great connection between, your embouchure, your playing style, your budget and your musical needs.
Any difference in costs will be adjusted on the day of selection.

Exchange and return of instruments based on a change of mind IS NOT AN OPTION.
Unless selecting 'Pick and Play' delivery option, the online selection and purchase is considered final.

Exchanges will only be offered under the terms of our guarantee,
and not based on perceived suitability or change of mind for any other reason.
We strongly recommend use of our excellent 'Pick &and Play' service, of expert guided selection.

All Instruments are pre-sales serviced and play tested by our expert artisans, prior to shipping.

Claims for damage during shipping should be made within 2 days of arrival:

  • Contact by phone within 2 days of delivery.
  • Detail damage/faults in writing within 4 days of delivery.

Both written and verbal advice are required, as specified above.
